I went to Target tonight in hopes of scoring a sweet deal on toilet paper that I wrote about here. Well, my Target doesn't carry the 4 packs of Cottonelle so no deal for me. (just another check in the long list of cons for the JC Target) BUT I did score on some other items we needed.
Here's what I got, I had to split it up in 3 transaction because the coupons I had for the light bulbs specifically said "one offer per transaction"
Transaction 1 I got:
1 CFL Bulb $1.99
3 45 Count Bounce Dryer Sheets $1.94 each
Total: 7.81 before taxes
I used:
$2.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
$1.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
$0.50 off Bounce 5/2PG
$0.50 off Bounce 5/2PG
$0.50 off Bounce 5/2PG
$0.75 off Bounce at Target 5/16SS
$0.75 off Bounce at Target 5/16SS
$0.75 off Bounce at Target 5/16SS
$0.83 remainder of free gift card
Total OOP: $0.58 taxes included
Transaction 2 I got:
1 CFL Bulb $1.99
1 Box Plastic Spoons $1.37
Total: $3.38 before taxes
I used:
$2.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
$1.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
Total OOP: $0.50 taxes included
Transaction 3 I got:
1 CFL Bulb $1.99
1 Loaf Sara Lee Bread $1.89
Total: $3.88 before taxes
I used:
$2.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
$1.00 off Energy Smart Light Bulb
Total OOP: $1.04 taxes included
Target Totals For The Night:
Before Coupons: $15.07 before taxes
OOP taxes included: $2.12!!! I used to pay that for the bread alone!
One note on my coupons, some cashiers/managers will not allow the 2nd coupon the the light bulbs because it causes overage. If you still have these coupons, try it at your store. Even if you can't use the second coupon, it's still a free light bulb, just not a money making light bulb. :0)
